Euell Etchison 1942-2007 Euell John "Speedy" Etchison March 5, 1942 - May 30, 2007 A graveside service will be held Monday, June 4th, 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Euell John "Speedy" Etchison was born March 5, 1942, in Bakersfield, CA and grew up in Arvin and Lamont. He passed away May 30, 2007. He was given the nickname Speedy by his friends because he was a gifted athlete who pitched a softball with skill and speed. He loved his sweetheart, family, friends, animals, the Dodgers, ice cream, pop, his guitar, and most of all, Jesus. Our dear Euell John, we miss you so much, and our sorrow is great. We are looking forward to seeing you soon, sweet Speedy. We love you. | ||
