Sixto Bob Vasquez Jr., 65, of Oak View passed away Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Maywood Skilled Nursing after a lengthy illness.

Bob was born April 29, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas, and had been a Ventura County resident for 40 years, coming from Arvin, Calif. He was a plumbing warehouse foreman.

Bob had many joys in life, but his passion and love were fishing and hunting.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children, Coy Allen Vasquez and Kimberley Matihis, and grandsons, Laeden and Dylan, all of Oklahoma; brother, Peter Vaquez; sisters, Rosemarie Putzier (husband J.R. Putzier) and Ora Villa; and nephews, Steven Villa, Justin Villa and Quinn Villa.
