Fredrick Ray Garrett Feb. 17, 1942 – Dec. 25, 2006 Visitation for Fredrick Ray Garrett will be held at World of Pentecost Church (3025 Fairfax Road) on Tuesday morning, January 2, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Arvin Cemetery. Fredrick was born February 17, 1942 and he passed away December 25, 2006 in Bakersfield, California. He is preceded in death by his son, Stanley Rosson. He is survived by his wife, Francis Garrett; daughter, Cindy Rosson; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Charlene Garrett; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Jimmy Rodgers; daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Mark Mendez; 12 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 1 sister; 2 brothers as well as numerous other family members and a loving church family. Fred was a dedicated member of the World of Pentecost Church on Fairfax Road which he helped to build. He loved fishing and driving the mountain roads. Teasing people brought him joy.
