I was born in San Francisco, my Mom's hometown and raised in Arvin. I went to Bakersfield JC, San Francisco State ( where I earned a teaching credential) and received my Masters in Psychology at JFK University.
I met my husband Hobie in San Francisco and we raised three children, Michele, Lauren and Adam. Michele lives in Santa Clarita with her husband, son Nick 17 and daughter Sophia 14. Lauren lives in Walnut Creek with her husband, Jack 10 and Joe 6...in our old family home that's been in the family since 1948. Lucky for me, I live 5 minutes away. Adam lives with his wife in Corona del Mar and enjoys it there.
Hobie and I (he died ten years ago) loved to spend time in La Paz, Baja California Sur. We had a boat there and liked scuba diving and boating to Isla Espiritu Santo with family and friends. It was always an adventure driving down. La Paz holds a special place in my heart and Adam and his wife were married there in the old mission church two years ago.I worked at a middle school as a Marriage and Family Therapist and retired two years ago. I enjoy hiking, cycling, traveling and just started golf lessons. Big adventure four years ago was driving the whole length of Mexico to Guatemala with a friend, where I stayed for a few weeks and studied Spanish ( I've forgotten most of it). Last amazing trip was to Turkey.
Looking forward to the reunion and thanks to all the reunion planners.
